Hall of Flame Fire Museum
Phoenix, Arizona
The Hall of Flame Fire Museum and the National Firefighting Hall of Heroes, located in Phoenix, Arizona, has almost an acre of fire history exhibits, with over 90 fully restored pieces of fire apparatus on display, dating from 1725 to 1969. Additionally, the Hall of Flame sponsors the National Firefighting Hall of Heroes, which honors firefighters who have died in the line of duty or who have been decorated for heroism. The Hall also includes a gallery dedicated to the history of wildland firefighting in the United States.
Life Line Ambulance
High Country Fire-Rescue utilizes Life Line Ambulance of Arizona Station 51, Williams, during those times a patient requires emergency medical transportation. In addition, Life Line Ambulance can provide non-emergency transportation for transferring ill and injured patients between hospitals and other medical centers. An important service provided by Life Line is the "LifeCare Membership Plan," which High Country Fire-Rescue highly recommends to all residents in our rural area. Northern Arizona Emergency Medical Services (NAEMS)
Northern Arizona Emergency Medical Services Inc. (NAEMS) was founded to assist providers in the development of a regional system. NAEMS started its work with no funding, volunteer work from EMS providers and northern area base hospitals, and the support of the regional ADHS/BEMS office. The goal was to continue improvement of the EMS system, help smaller providers, and have a unified voice at the state level. Today, NAEMS receives funding from ADHS to provide grants for education, equipment and supplies. NAEMS operates with a board of directors and a steering committee. Membership is open to all EMS agencies in the northern region having an interest in participating.
100 Club
The mission of the 100 Club of Arizona is to provide financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line-of-duty, and to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare. Learn more about this organization here.

Wildland Emergency Fire Advisory Council (WEFAC) The WEFAC organization is made up of area volunteer fire departments. The primary purpose is to assist one another when necessary. Meeting once a month, members are advised of upcoming training by the National Forest wildland firefighting personnel or individual fellow departments.
The provided training enables each member department to increase their knowledge of techniques, equipemnt and available resources, as well as the ability to use them in emergency situations before an actual emergency occurs. Additionally, members share information concerning equipment each department has, abilities and capabilites of each department, and other emergency related topics.
Membership within this organization allows for the mutual aid agreement between participating departments. This agreement adds a second emergency layer of back-up emergency equipment and personnel from one or more departments to a primary responding department when the need of such back-up is required.
