Our Volunteer Department Staff

We are an all-volunteer department with fully trained and certified personnel in fire response and emergency medial services. HCFR's Officers consists of Chief, Fire Captain, EMS Captain, Communications Director, and Noah Rescue Director. Under the direction of their respective Captain, all volunteers meet monthly for training in all areas of their assigned duties and responsibilities. Additionally, our volunteers reside within our service area, allowing for more effective and timely service to fellow residents and the traveling public.

High Country Fire-Rescue volunteers fill a critical role as they assist in the fulfillment of the primary mission of the Department.

Volunteer staff provide services in the area of general Station operations in support roles, such as equipment maintenance and repair.

Other volunteer staff attend mandatory and optional training as part of their commitment to department and membership at large.

No matter the role, and for various personal reasons, our volunteer staff finds their experiences to be fulfilling, rewarding and exciting.
